Prayer meetings

We are a praying church and we believe in the power of prayer. Alongside our services and other small group meetings, we have a few times during the week set aside specifically for prayer.

Tuesday

Tuesdays are prayer days at HLBC! We run three small meetings during the day:
7.30am to 8am Early Morning Prayer
9.15am to 10.30am Prayer and Praise
12noon to 1pm Midday Prayer

Everyone is warmly welcomed to these meetings. They are quite informal and you can drop in and out.

Sunday

Our front doors are usually open from about 9.10am on a Sunday, and a prayer session runs in the Prayer Room (just off our main entrance) up until the service begins.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

Held a few times during the year, men’s prayer breakfast is a chance for men to pray and to share over a hearty breakfast!

Special events

We occasionally run one-off prayer meetings and half-nights of prayer for specific situations and events. We also join in (and sometimes host) the local Churches Together prayer meetings that are usually on a Thursday evening. These will appear in the Events list.
